ABOUT ME:

"I spent nearly a decade as a professional athlete being measured every single day."

Sports does not let you hide. There is a number next to your name, everybody can see it, and the film does not lie. You either produced or you did not, and then you came back the next day and did it again. That is where I learned what I do for a living now.

Who is Eddie Christian III (EC3)?

I am a customer executive with close to two decades leading customer success and customer experience organizations. I have spent that time building teams as much as building process.

I lead organizations made up of enterprise account managers, B2B and B2C customer success managers, customer satisfaction leaders, retention specialists, training, tech support, and Voice of the Customer programs. I have owned the deployment and ongoing management of third party product integrations across those teams.

I have run several customer success rebuilds where the organization moved product adoption, onboarding effectiveness, Customer Effort Score, Net Promoter Score, Customer Satisfaction and retention.

I was the Vice President of Customer Success at AbsenceSoft. Before that I was Vice President of Customer Success and Customer Experience at Resy, part of the American Express Global Dining Network. I am also Executive Director of Show California Baseball.

I am an alumnus of Long Beach State University, where I played baseball for three years before a nine year professional career in the Miami Marlins, Anaheim Angels, and Seattle Mariners organizations. I hold the CCXP, Certified Customer Experience Professional credential through the CXPA, and four NASM certifications and an All American and Olympic team invitee at Long Beach. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer, Sport Nutrition Coach and Virtual Coaching Specialist.

"Eddie puts so much energy into his people. He is someone that "sees" you and genuinely wants to help you become the best version of yourself."

Chandre Geis, CCXP, Director of Revenue Operations, American Express Global Dining Network. Reported to Eddie directly. May 2025
